I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! We sure did! We got to spend time with family and Audree went on 3 egg hunts... and she keeps having little egg hunts of her own with the eggs that mommy let her keep out.

Lots of fun and excitement going on around here. :-) Mich is in school this week.. I'm sure he's enjoying being able to sleep in a couple extra hours.

We are planning to do as much work as possible in the yard on Saturday for the Audree cause (she needs a place to play!) If you wanna join us, come on over.. I'm sure we'll start early and would love all the help we can get. We will be doing cleanup, repairing the sprinkler system, mowing, possibly trimming the trees and cutting down the bushes between us and the neighbor's house and spreading some grass seed, taking down the little shed made of roofing material in the corner of the yard... LOTS of work! All of which I'm sure will require several trips to the dump. We also possibly found someone that has enough fill dirt to take care of the big hole in the backyard..... I hope!!! We haven't heard back from him yet. And Sunday we'll probly be at Amy's sister's house helping them as they are finally ready to put down flooring in their new house! YAHH! They have the outside painted and should be finished painting the inside shortly.

I will be participating in the March for Babies... previously Walk America at the end of April. If you want to look at my page or sponsor me, the address is www.marchforbabies.org/AudreesMommy Also, if you are local and want to join the team, please feel free to do so... it's a 6.5 mile walk :) Good exercise!!!

I had been wanting to get back into the band and play clarinet again. I got in contact with the director about a tentative start date for CBC Community Band Summer program and he asked if I would join in for the spring quarter.. which starts next week! I better find that instrument get the cobwebs out :) ... I haven't played since a few months before getting pregnant with Audree. I am really looking forward to it though.

Another item that was sent to me that I thought was blog-worthy. Sorry, can't make it any bigger, it starts getting too distorted. :(

Hooorrayyy! The weekend is finally here! I always look forward to the weekend because Michael does not normally work the weekends right now. We have a busy weekend planned for Easter, hopefully we won't wear ourselves and Audree out! :)

I've continued to spend time in the kitchen working on fun foods that all three of us can eat, as I don't want to eat anything Audree can't.. it's really not fair to her. I have successfully made bread and dinner rolls that are light and yummy..unfortunately I cannot take credit for the recipes, but I had to tweak them a bit... I will post the recipes later for anyone interested. Unfortunately you will need a scale as the measurements are all metric. I bought a cheap scale from Walmart and it works wonderful

My next task is to try a recipe for white chocolate that I just found, it looks awesome (not waxy like commercially made white chocolate) and so easy. I was going to do this for Easter, but when I went hunting for Cocoa Butter that you can bake with, the people at the health food stores thought I was nuts! (They thought cocoa butter was something you only put on your skin) I went to an organic store in downtown and talked to the gal who said she'd do some research for me and let me know if she could get it in since she knew exactly what I was talking about... I know where I'm shopping from now on!

Audree and I joined in on a little Easter Fun this afternoon at a friend's house, it was a blast! I'm so glad the weather held up long enough for us. Audree figured out you're supposed to put the eggs in the basket and go look for more in just a couple minutes. She should have it down for the next egg hunt!! We have 3 more planned. :)

I keep adding to that list of words Audree knows, i've counted about 100. She picked up at least a 1/2 dozen more over the last few days... of course her favorite word is still no. I figure the more words she knows, the less she'll tell me no... at least that is my hope!

Audree popped another too through! YAH! She has 4 that are working their way in right now and I felt one of them last night. She's been such a good girl through this teething phase, she has her days, but don't we all?

So it's been 10 months since our little 'Dree was diagnosed with food allergies and I'm happy to say that I have finally found a good bread recipe! (no wheat, no eggs, no dairy, no soy!!!) I am so excited! I've tried lots of recipes and mixes and everyone one of them has turned out either gross or thick and hard like a brick. I have a few little tweaks to make, but I'm excited to eat sandwiches again!! And with a small variation in flours I can make something similar to an unsweetened cornbread... add a little honey and you can't tell the difference!! My next task is to make easter candy! Maybe I'll figure it out before next easter... hahaha!!

Mommy, Daddy and Audree have been very busy lately. It's still a little weird for me not to work outside of the house anymore, but now that I've done it for a few months, I couldn't have it any other way!!! I had finally found a good boss and a great group to work with, but God decided it was time for a change as I desparately wanted to be home with my baby and things ended up working out for the better! Mich took on a second job (went back to SunMart) until I can finish my Medical Transcription training and though it seems slow, I am getting really close to being done.... only 2 more tests left! Once I finish and start working, Mich can quit his job at SunMart and be with us in the evenings.

Mich is getting closer to completing his second year of his electrical apprenticeship, I am so proud of him. He is really enjoying himself and is the top student of his class. Some day he hopes to open up his own shop.. he's already doing the research and trying to figure out what he needs to do.

Audree and Mommy have gotten involved with a mommy's group here locally and have met some wonderful mommys and their kids during the past few months! We have been going for walks, to the park, playing "gymnastics", I can't wait for it to get a little warmer outside.. will bring even more fun! I can't imagine how much I would miss if I was still working. She is so much mommy's girl! Audree is changing every day. Just two weeks ago I could shut the fridge while she played with the magnets on the freezer door (we have one with a bottom freezer) over her head, now she's too tall! She's hit a big growth spurt... I'm even enjoying the little extra sleep I get at night because of it. She's never slept through the night, but during her growth spurts she only wakes up once, normally she's up twice.. she sleeps a total of 11-12 hrs a night.

Audree is a little bundle of energy and loves to say hi to everyone. I can't take her to the store w/o her saying hi to 90% of the people we walk by. She loves it when they say hi back, but is so funny when they don't. If you don't say hi back to her, she will keep saying hi until you respond or your no longer around. She's a very social little thing and likes almost everybody! Almost... :) We went to the gym today and there was a little girl probably about 2-3 yrs old that was pushing a doll stroller around and wanted Audree to get in so she could push her. Audree was doing her own thing, playing with all the toys she could find and basically minding her own business. The little girl kept yelling at Audree... "baby!" "Baby!"... getting louder and louder. Audree wanted nothing to do with this demanding little toddler, so she grabbed her toy and pushed it to another side of the mat and kept on playing. I was trying soooo hard not to laugh since the little girl's mommy was sitting right there.
